By Samidoun Gothenburg has organised an open study circle on the book Riding the Wave: Sweden’s Integration into the Imperialist World System, written by activist and author Torkil Lauesen. To conclude the circle, we now invite you to an afternoon and mini-conference on the issue: What does anti-imperialism and being anti-imperialist mean in Sweden today?

The afternoon will start with a joint discussion with Torkil Lauesen about his book and what conclusions and implications we can draw from its content, but also what questions remain unanswered. We will then continue with a broader panel discussion, with panelists discussing from different perspectives what a progressive, radical and even revolutionary anti-imperialism could be.
